This course of literature is aimed at students in the final three years of secondary school or technical schools which include the study of literature on the syllabus.

It is made up of four volumes:-

• Littèrama Moyen-Âge – XVIIIe
• Littèrama XIXe- 
• Littèrama XXe

The fundamental aim of the series is not only to ensure the students’ complete knowledge and criticism of the main stages of French literature from the Mediaeval to the 20th century, but also the acquisition of reading and writing techniques (summaries, comments) starting with literary texts or newspaper articles.

The first volume, Littèrama Clefs de lecture provides the skills necessary for the analysis of literature and the recognition of the characteristics of each literary genre (fiction, poetry, theatre). The style, the literary genres, the structure and the types of text are explained.
