Panorama uses all the advantages of modern technology to create a completely interactive, multimedia based course. Using Augmented Reality, Panorama gives students and teachers access to additional digital content. Scanning barcodes in the coursebooks with a smartphone or tablet gives access to a free app which can be downloaded using a unique code printed in each book. The coursebook thus becomes a multimedia learning experience in the classroom, at home or on the move.

The coursebook consists of 16 chapters each containing 6 pages. The first four pages offer short texts and exercises based on real-life situations. Page 5 contains interesting reading texts with a cultural theme. The final page brings together the phrases and structures introduced in the chapter. Cultural Quiz videos provide extra cultural information on German-speaking countries and the most important dialogues from the book are also available as video-clips.

Panorama and Deutsch-aktiv pages throughout the book offer further material for speaking practice.
