Student's book with exercises and online audio (CEFR A2-B1).

A modern course of Italian culture and society for near beginners and intermediate students of Italian. The book is divided into 10 cultural themes or topics, each offering a variety of texts and exercises designed to develop students' communication skills, to broaden cultural knowledge about Italy, to practise textual comprehension, and to enrich vocabulary in line with the CEFR and also certifications in Italian as a foreign language (e.g. CELI, CILS).

Each cultural topic is presented through a series of oral and written texts with activities covering: written comprehension, listening comprehension, oral production, written production, and lexical development. Each of the ten chapters also includes two special features: 'Scopriamo di più', to deepen and expand on the content of the texts; and 'Sapete che...', which introduces curiosities and interesting stories and information.

At the end of the activities, the section 'Lavoriamo ancora' offers further study ideas that encourage students to use the language in context and to gather other information on the topics covered previously. A glossary, 'Caccia... alle parole!', closes each chapter, which explains some of the words with definitions and examples.
